  • Publication number: 20240087695
Abstract: A medical device data back-association system, apparatuses, and methods are disclosed. In an example embodiment, an electronic medical record memory receives, while an infusion pump is administering a medication to a patient, an identifier message including at least two of a device identifier of the infusion pump, a patient identifier of the patient, and a medication order identifier of a medication being administer by the infusion pump. The memory creates an association between an electronic medical record (“EMR”) of the patient and the infusion pump using the identifier message. The memory next receives, after the association between the EMR of the patient and the infusion pump, infusion pump data from the infusion pump. The infusion pump data includes the device identifier. The memory then stores the infusion pump data to the EMR of the patient based on the created association between the EMR of the patient and the infusion pump.

  • Patent number: 8662786
Abstract: A vehicle destabilizing device that provides for the selective, remotely-deployed deflection and/or overturning of a targeted vehicle regardless of wheel or undercarriage configuration. The device is comprised of a combination of a remote arm/safe mechanism, a remote deployment switch, one or more lifting devices, a housing, and one or more structural members contiguously engaging the vehicle. The housing can be at least partially submerged in a road surface or protrude from the road surface so as to be driven over until deployed. A sensor can provide independent deployment once the device is armed.

  • Publication number: 20130175352
Abstract: In like manner that winds intersect and deflect each other in space we can intersect and deflect the hurricanes and storms at the area of thrusting between their steering winds and their outer edge, with blasting explosion waves of non-nuclear high-power propellant fuel missiles thrown in vertical perpendicular alignment, against the routing of the steering wind current at N equal number of levels, first for testing a 300 pounds missile thrown, by adequately equipped air-vehicles for missiles launching, to observe the effect on the hurricane configuration, then decide to adjust the explosive quantity to thrust successfully, all blasts of each round of missiles should be detonated in a timely manner, then continue the rounds of explosives at intervals approximately similar to the time required by the prior blast to travel twice the diameter of its explosion, repeating as necessary, hitting always at the thrusting area until achieving success.

  • Patent number: 8448126
Abstract: This invention provides a compliance assessment system and tool for efficiently assessing compliance programs and managing compliance program assessments across an organization. Compliance activities are measured against a group of Compliance Program Element Requirements (CPR's) that are used to assess LOB compliance programs. The CPR's define the minimum standards for the LOB's documentation and execution of its compliance program. Assessment results are documented and a compliance program assessment data sheet is developed. A rating is also provided for the status of the documentation supporting the compliance program and the effectiveness of the execution of the compliance program. From these inputs the tool of the invention automatically calculates a score representative of the adequacy and effectiveness of the compliance program. The tool also assigns a color code based at least in part on the score. Reports may be generated that can be used to determine compliance trends.

  • Publication number: 20090151330
Abstract: Systems and methods for updating the PF soot load of an engine are provided herein. In one embodiment, the method may include performing regeneration in response to both pressure-based measurements as well as estimated soot loading independent of the pressure-based measurements, where during conditions in which the pressure-based measurements may be inaccurate, the soot load is estimated based on operating conditions and previous pressure-based measurements that occurred during previous conditions in which the pressure-based measurements are more accurate. In this way, more continuous monitoring of particulate filter loading is provided, while taking advantage of pressure-based measurements from the most recent accurate reading, for example, and operating conditions that have transpired since such reading, including transient conditions. Thus, more appropriately timed regeneration may be provided.

  • Patent number: 4482471
Abstract: Sodium perborate particles are coated or at least partially coated with a salt of a lower alkyl siliconic acid and/or polymerization product(s) thereof which may be formed from such acid on storage. The coated sodium perborate particles are useful as components of heavy duty fabric softening laundry detergent compositions, such as those which contain bentonite to soften laundry. The coating material, which may be more simply referred to as the siliconate, assists in stabilizing the sodium perborate when such is incorporated in detergent compositions, helps to prevent adherence of the coated particles to container or compartment walls and can aid in controlling the foaming activity of the built synthetic organic detergents.
