    Abstract: The foundation frame is formed of a pair of parallel tubes which are interconnected by cross-tubes and stiffeners. In addition, the frame has a pair of plates secured to and in parallel to the parallel tubes in order to receive the base of a combustion engine and the base of an electrical generator. The foundation frame may be secured to the hull of a ship or to a concrete base of a stationary plant.
