Patent number: 4940229Abstract: A two-legged swing with a single swing arm, powered by a spring motor, which provides a simple structure for imparting rocking motion to the swing arm, for making the motor easily detachable, and for pivoting the swing seat. The invention involves a swing comprising a frame, a leg, a base, and a support structure. The leg has both upper and lower portions. The base is joined to the lower portion of the leg. The support structure is joined to the upper portion of the leg and has a coupling means. A swing arm hangs from the support structure and is capable of swinging movement by rotating axially about the support structure. Rocking means is connected to the swing arm by a single bracket for imparting rocking motion to the swing arm. The bracket has both upper and lower portions. The lower portion of the bracket is connected to an upper portion of the swing arm. Patent number: 4458952Abstract: A vehicle wheel trim member has a round spring steel ring mounted on the inboard face thereof adapted to engage in grooves in the wheel mounting lug nuts or the studs on which they are threaded to releasably retain the trim member on the wheel. The ring is dimensioned to be flexed radially into non-circular shape and thereby assume a stressed condition when engaged in the grooves. The ring is mounted on the trim member such that the retention forces generated by the flexed ring are absorbed entirely by the studs and not by the trim member. The bicycle also contains a brake control assembly having a cam mounted on the shaft outwardly of the hub for rotation with the shaft, the cam having at least one working edge surface, a plate carried on the shaft in substantially planar parallel relationship to the cam. The plate pivotally mounts a cam follower, in the nature of a pawl, for engaging said cam working edge upon back pedalling operation.
