  • Patent number: 6802301
Abstract: The invention relates to a fuel supply system for an internal combustion engine, having a unit such as a pressure regulator, mounted in electrically insulated fashion and including an electrically conductive housing, and the housing is connected via an electrical connection to a defined electrical potential. As a result, static charging of the unit, which could become dangerous, is precluded. The fuel supply system is intended in particular for pumping fuel to an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20020151200
Abstract: The proposal relates to a device for protecting an electrical and/or electronic component, arranged on a carrier substrate, from electrostatic discharges, an overvoltage occurring in the case of discharge at a carrier-substrate contact element connected to the component being diverted to a ground connection, bypassing the component. It is proposed that the protective device include a first electroconductive structure conductively connected to the jeopardized contact element, and a second electroconductive structure arranged adjacent to the first structure on the carrier substrate and conductively connected to the ground connection.

  • Patent number: 4716372
Abstract: A circuit arrangement for monitoring the current supply of an electric consumer has a voltage regulator connected to an operating voltage that is variable over time and has a voltage monitor for switching on a consumer exclusively during the constant phase of the supply voltage. The voltage monitor is defined by a comparator at one input of which a reference voltage proportional to the regulator output voltage is present and at the other input of which a difference voltage picked up at the regulator output and exceeding a threshold value is present. A switch-on and switch-off signal can be take off at the comparator output.

  • Patent number: 4665399
Abstract: A device for transmitting of binary data between a mobile data carrier (10) and a stationary station (11) is provided with a first resonance circuit (13) in the stationary station (11), whereby a switchable field effect transistor (25) is parallel switched to its condenser (17) by means of a switching pulse sequence, a second resonance circuit (12) in the data carrier (10) which is at least conductively coupled for a short time with the first resonance circuit (13). For the purpose of enlarging the inductively to be bridged distances between the resonance circuits (12,13) of data carrier (10) and stationary station (11) without impairing the operating safety during the data transmission the resonance circuit (13) in the stationary station (11) is designed in such a manner that its resonance frequency is about equal to the switching pulse sequence.

  • Patent number: RE31392
Abstract: The signals of one or more engine operating parameters, such as r.p.m. and throttle valve vacuum are altered by function generators to correspond to the desired relationship between ignition timing and the parameters that are taken into account. These altered signals are added together and conducted to a comparator that receives as a second input a time and r.p.m. dependent signal from a saw tooth generator, the output of the comparator being fed to the ignition device. .Iadd.
