  • Patent number: 5109754
Abstract: A high torque low speed motor has a nutating assembly driven by a hydraulic or an electric actuator. The nutator assembly drivingly connects to an output shaft through a gear train. Because of a difference in the number of teeth between a gear on the output shaft and a gear on the nutating assembly, the output shaft is driven at a differential ratio as the nutator assembly is driven.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 27, 1991
Date of Patent: May 5, 1992

  • Patent number: 4455920
Abstract: A variable displacement, rocker cam type, axial piston pump in which the rocker cam is driven by a stroking piston and the stroking piston is connected to the rocker cam by a pair of flexible connectors and tension in the first flexible connector is raised and tension in the second flexible connector is lowered when the stroking piston is moved in one direction to pivot the rocker cam toward a position of maximum fluid displacement and tension in the second flexible connector is raised and tension in the first flexible connector is lowered when the stroking piston is moved in the other direction to pivot the rocker cam toward a position of minimum fluid displacement.

  • Patent number: 4242068
Abstract: The instant invention provides an improved vane for a vane pump which incorporates an extended undervane suction port. The vane has a restricted passage which connects the inner and outer ends of the vane and an unrestricted passage which connects the outer end of the vane and the suction side of the vane when the leading edge of the vane is exposed to the pressure port and the inner end of the vane is connected to the suction port.

  • Patent number: 4008004
Abstract: In a hydraulic system having a plurality of variable displacement pumps driven by a prime mover, each pump has a variable ratio input device connected to a load sensing means. Each variable ratio input device automatically reduces the displacement of its respective pump by the same proportion when the prime mover is overloaded irrespective of the displacement setting of the pump and automatically increases the displacement of its pump by the same proportion up to the set displacement when the prime mover is not overloaded.
