  • Patent number: 4079095
Abstract: A catalytic process is provided for converting an organic charge consisting essentially of methanol, dimethyl ether or mixtures thereof together with at least about 0.25 moles of water per mole of said organic charge to a hydrocarbon product rich in ethylene and propylene by contact, under conversion conditions, with a catalyst comprising a crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite of the erionite-offretite family.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 4, 1976
Date of Patent: March 14, 1978
    Assignee: Mobil Oil Corporation
Inventors: Edwin N. Givens, Charles J. Plank, Edward J. Rosinski
  • Patent number: 4079096
Abstract: A catalytic process is provided for converting a charge consisting essentially of methanol, dimethyl ether or mixtures thereof to a hydrocarbon product rich in ethylene and propylene by contact, under conversion conditions, with a catalyst comprising the crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite designated "ZSM-34".
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 4, 1976
Date of Patent: March 14, 1978
    Assignee: Mobil Oil Corporation

  • Patent number: 4021502
Abstract: Gaseous C.sub.2 -C.sub.5 olefins, either alone or in admixture with paraffins having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, are converted into gasoline blending stock with a good research octane number by passage over ZSM-4, ZSM-12, ZSM-18, chabazite or Zeolite beta.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 24, 1975
Date of Patent: May 3, 1977
    Assignee: Mobil Oil Corporation
Inventors: Charles J. Plank, Edward J. Rosinski, Edwin N. Givens
  • Patent number: 3960978
Abstract: Gaseous C.sub.2 -C.sub.5 olefins, either alone or in admixture with paraffins, are converted into an olefinic gasoline blending stock with a good research octane number in good yields by passage over a ZSM-5 type zeolite catalyst of controlled acidity. The catalyst must have reduced activity for cracking of n-hexane or aromatization of olefins or paraffins if it is to be useful for the purpose of this invention.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 5, 1974
Date of Patent: June 1, 1976
    Assignee: Mobil Oil Corporation
Inventors: Edwin N. Givens, Charles J. Plank, Edward J. Rosinski
