  • Publication number: 20190237189
Abstract: A system supporting perioperative workflow includes a backend system with at least one database; at least one application configured with the database(s); and at least one user interface (UI) mechanism supporting a plurality of role-specific graphical user interfaces (GUIs) to the backend system. The backend system maintains an authoritative version of perioperative workflow information for each of a plurality of patients. One or more devices are configured with at least some of the role-specific GUIs, and operably connected to and interact with the backend system via the UI mechanism(s). Each device is configured to: receive and display perioperative workflow information from the backend system in a role-specific GUI on the device; and to send perioperative workflow information to the backend system via the role-specific GUI on the device.

  • Publication number: 20160217641
Abstract: A system for in-stadium mobile games includes a server computer for collecting and distributing sporting-event data; and a client computer in communication with the server computer over a network. The client computer includes a computer memory for storing software instructions; and a computer processor for executing the software instructions. The software instructions perform the steps of (1) receiving, from a user via an input device, a selection of a plurality of athletes competing in a sporting event; (2) receiving, from the server computer, information regarding performance of the selection of the plurality of athletes; (3) during or upon completion of the sporting event, computing a score of the user based on the selection and the performance; and (4) indicating that the score of the user surpasses at least one other score of another user and that the user be awarded a prize.

  • Publication number: 20150057074
Abstract: A set of projected performance data for an upcoming performance of real-world athletes is used to create a projected point value corresponding to the projected performance of each real-world athlete. A user of a client device selects one or more athletes that the user deems most likely to improve on their projected points. When the real-world games begin, a difference between the projected fantasy-sports point totals (which may be equalized by providing a handicap) is used to declare a winner of the fantasy-sports game.

  • Patent number: 8821231
Abstract: Methods and system include obtaining attributes of athletic players from one or more sources. The attributes define statistics of the athletic players. Minimum requirements are determined for teams organized in a group. A listing is generated for each team in the group. The listing includes a plurality of entries wherein each entry is configured to present attributes of an athletic player or a team that is part of the group. Select ones of the plurality of entries in the listing are static and select ones of the entries are dynamic. The entries that are static are used to provide minimum requirements defined for each team in the group and the entries that are dynamic are used to provide attributes of the teams or the athletic players. The dynamic entries are adjusted during a drafting process to provide current status of the teams and the athletic players.

  • Patent number: 8475249
Abstract: Methods and system for presenting a plurality of attributes of a plurality of players from a plurality of teams that are part of a league includes obtaining a plurality of attributes of the plurality of players and the plurality of teams. The plurality of attributes of the plurality of the players and of the teams is populated in one or more databases along with any updates to these attributes. The databases are queried to retrieve updated plurality of attributes of the plurality of players and the plurality of teams. A roster grid is generated for the plurality of teams for rendering at a client in substantial real time. The roster grid displays the updated status of the plurality of attributes of the plurality of players and the plurality of teams simultaneously in a clean, concise and effective manner.
