  • Patent number: 11407076
Abstract: A regeneration device for regenerating a coolant dispersion with phase change material includes: a redispersion unit for redispersing the coolant dispersion, the redispersion unit including a restrictor; and a recooling unit that enables freezing of a phase change material by dissipating heat stored in the coolant dispersion. The recooling unit is arranged so that dissipated heat is at least partially recuperated in order to heat up the coolant dispersion to an inlet temperature.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 12, 2019
Date of Patent: August 9, 2022
    Assignee: GF MACHINING SOLUTIONS AG
Inventors: Ludger Fischer, Silvan von Arx, Edwin Reinhard, Lukas Weiss

  • Publication number: 20190160415
Abstract: A filter for separating oil particles from an air stream includes a continuous side wall in which a filter material is accommodated, a completely uninterrupted floor, and a cover. The side wall is fastened between the floor and the cover and the filter material includes a fibre mixture of synthetic fibres and glass fibres. The filter material is configured such that, upon the inflow of the air stream through the filter material, the oil particles from the air stream agglomerate into drops on the surface of the material and the drops run off downwards.

  • Publication number: 20180243838
Abstract: A clamping unit for a chuck of a machine tool spindle contains a threaded shaft for adjusting the clamping jaws of the chuck. The threaded shaft is axially adjustable in the clamping unit by means of a threaded nut connected to a rotor of a servomotor actuator. An electrically actuable, releasable clutch has a first clutch element, which is connected in a rotationally secure and axially displaceable manner to the threaded shaft, and a second clutch element, which cooperates with the first clutch element and is connected in a rotationally secure manner to the rotor. When the clutch is activated, the threaded shaft and the threaded nut are mutually connected in a rotationally secure manner and prevent axial displacement of the threaded shaft.

  • Patent number: 9925633
Abstract: The invention relates, on the one hand, to a machine element (6), for example a motor spindle or an electromechanical drive unit, with integrated, internal cooling system (8) and, on the other hand, to a closed cooling circuit (24) with corresponding machine element (6). According to the invention, the cooling takes place with a special coolant (4). The coolant (4) is a dispersion containing at least one Phase Change Material (PCM).
