Patent number: 9469387Abstract: An inflatable bag is selectively usable as one of a buoy and a punching bag. The inflatable bag is inflated depending on the selected use, and the inflating is practiced differently depending on the use decision. When it is decided to use the bag as a punching bag, the bag is suspended, and the bag is inflated with water. An inflatable bag member and kit includes components suitable for the selected use.Type: GrantFiled: August 8, 2014Date of Patent: October 18, 2016Assignee: TAYLOR MADE GROUP, LLCInventors: Jason Pajonk-Taylor, Edwin Rivera

Publication number: 20050044033Abstract: A like-kind exchange method wherein an accommodator acquires a property on behalf of an exchanger and establishes itself as the tax owner of the acquired property by becoming liable to pay on at least a portion of a debt on the acquired property. The accommodator then leases the acquired property to the exchanger with an option to buy. During the term of the lease, the exchanger is free to perform any desired development work on the acquired property. With this procedure, the acquired property is available as a replacement property in a like-kind exchange by the exchanger for longer than the 180 day time limitation imposed by Revenue Procedure 2000-37.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 12, 2004Publication date: February 24, 2005Inventors: Andrew Gelson, Edwin Rivera, Edward Glazer, David Marcus

Patent number: 6792312Abstract: An improved system and method for interconnecting an electrical device to a connector is provided. A connector assembly includes at least one connector block. The connector block may be of a type adapted to mechanically and electrically couple to an electrical lead, although any other type of connector for forming an electrical contact may be employed. The connector assembly further includes at least one weld plate. A conductor such as a wire is routed between the connector block and the weld plate and electrically coupled to both structures. The connector assembly is adapted to be fastened to a device housed within an enclosure, such as an implantable medical device residing within a can. A conductor extending from circuitry within the housing may be electrically coupled to the weld plate to thereby form an electrical connection between the circuitry and the connector block.Type: GrantFiled: September 6, 2001Date of Patent: September 14, 2004Assignee: Medtronic, Inc.Inventors: Richard A. Bruchmann, George Patras, Edwin Rivera

Patent number: 5447140Abstract: A fuel system for use on an internal combustion engine has a fuel metering body which defines a fuel plenum therein. The plenum has an inlet for pressurized fuel, a pressure regulator, and a fuel outlet. Disposed within the fuel plenum, in fluid communication with one another, the inlet and the outlet, are a plurality of fuel injectors. The fuel injectors have outlets which extend through the fuel meter body and deliver fuel to the intake ports of the associated engine through flexible fuel lines terminated by pressure pulse activated poppet nozzles providing a significant degree of application flexibility. The fuel meter body mounts within the intake manifold such that fuel and electrical connections extend out of the manifold for simplified source attachment.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 1993Date of Patent: September 5, 1995Assignee: General Motors CorporationInventors: Roger M. Patent number: 5070845Abstract: A fuel injection nozzle has a tubular body adapted to receive fuel, a tubular seat member mounted to the body, the seat member having an opening for discharging fuel and a valve seat surrounding the opening, a poppet valve member engageable with the valve seat to interrupt fuel flow through the opening, and an extension spring anchored to the body and to the valve member and biasing the valve member to engage the valve seat. The extension spring is a helically coiled spring with each coil lying close to the adjacent coils and with the coils at one end overlying an end of the body to anchor the spring to the body and to cause fuel flowing through the nozzle to pass between the coils of the spring; the spring thereby acts as a filter for fuel to be discharged by the nozzle. The seat member is axially movable relative to the body to adjust the length of the spring and thus the bias on the valve member whereby the desired valve-opening pressure differential may be established.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 1989Date of Patent: December 10, 1991Assignee: General Motors CorporationInventors: Anatol Avdenko, Richard L.
