    Abstract: A seal for a stationary pipe connected to a housing or chamber designed for high fluid pressures. The seal comprises a generally cylindrical metal shell and an elastomeric sealing liner bonded to the inner surface of the shell. The sealing liner has two sealing zones and a gradual ramp formation for centering and guiding the pipe thereinto during assembly.
