  • Water Resistant Adhesive for Beverage Labels

    Abstract: Various adhesives are described that are resistant to relatively hot aqueous washing solutions and particularly to hot caustic solutions used in bottle washing applications. The adhesives are used to adhere polymeric labels to containers such as beverage bottles and thereby enable the labeled bottles to be subjected to multiple washing operations without label removal or debonding.
