    Abstract: A downlight lighting assembly comprising a plurality of notches and engaging members to ease the alignment and assembly of the components. The downlight lighting assembly comprises an LED chip removably connected to a heatsink with a mixing chamber secured to the heatsink, where securing the mixing chamber to the heatsink provides the compressive force for an LED connector to engage and provide the electrical connection to the LED chip. The heatsink also has a plurality of protrusions on its upper edge to engage a lower wall of a reflector to secure the reflector to the lighting assembly.

The slot may form a mounting surface that has a larger surface area than an area of the aperture, onto which the circuit board or LED module may be attached. Further, the circuit board or LED module may be removable from the cavity and slidable through the slot.

    Abstract: In an embodiment, a diffuser assembly for a multiple-LED lighting lamp is provided. The diffuser assembly is configured to be attached to multiple-LED lighting lamp with a center cavity and an integral fan that draws air from the lighting lamp to cool the LEDs. The diffuser assembly may comprise a diffuser plate and a diffuser bushing. The diffuser plate may be generally circular in shape and may include a diffuser portion and a circular hole located in the center of the diffuser portion. The diffuser bushing may be configured to be inserted through the circular hole and into the center cavity of the multiple-LED lighting lamp.
