Abstract: An apparatus for facilitating maintaining of lawns. The apparatus comprises a body, wheel assemblies, and a material spreading assembly. Further, the material spreading assembly comprises a bottom container, a top container, a control mechanism, and a spreading mechanism. Further, the bottom container defines a bottom chamber including a first inlet and a first outlet. Further, the top container defines a top chamber including a second inlet and a second outlet. Further, the top container transfers a material received into the top chamber to the bottom chamber. Further, the bottom container dispenses the material received in the bottom chamber through the first outlet. Further, the control mechanism is coupled with the top chamber and allows the transferring of the material with a transferring rate. Further, the spreading mechanism is disposed in the bottom chamber for dispensing the material received in the bottom chamber through the first outlet in a dispensing area.

Abstract: A modular power tool apparatus provides a plurality of tool heads that are interchangeable between a selected tool head and any other comparable tool head, providing a user or operator the means to rapidly reconfigure a power tool for multiple roles and functions. The power unit is provided with an output shaft, a receiving cavity, and at least one locking mechanism. The output shaft is configured to engage to an input socket of the selected tool head a surrounding shell wall is positioned into the receiving cavity. The at least one locking mechanism captures at least one shelf on the shell wall to releasably fix the selected tool head into an operable configuration with the power unit.

Abstract: An exercise device for generating vibration is provided. The device includes a body that is attachable to exercise equipment through a pair of attachment mechanisms coupled to the body. One of the pair of attachment mechanisms is attachable to a cable of the exercise equipment and the other of the pair of attachment mechanisms is attachable to an accessory for the exercise equipment. A vibrational assembly is positioned within the body and includes a rotatable shaft having a weight attached thereto. The rotatable shaft rotates the weight to generate vibrations in the body, wherein the vibrations in the body generate vibrations in the accessory for the exercise equipment.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for monitoring, in real time, acoustic characteristics of an audio environment are provided. The audio environment may include a plurality of sound sources that convert input signals to first sound streams and may include undesired objects producing second sound streams. The method may include monitoring one or more of the input signals and generating, by a plurality of acoustic sensors, one or more output signals corresponding to the first sound streams and the second sound streams. The method may also include calculating attenuation and delay values between the input signals and the output signals. Further, the method may include using the attenuation and delay values to identify portions of the output signals corresponding to second sound streams.

Abstract: A fiber optic based security system is disposed on or in a structure such as a wall, roof, floor, ceiling, container, and/or ground. The security system contains an optical cable having first and second ends and an interface unit connected to both ends of the optical cable. The interface unit generates a specific light signal injected into the first end. The interface unit receives the specific light signal from the second end after the specific light signal propagates through the optical cable. The interface unit then determines if the specific light signal received falls within a given threshold and outputs an alarming signal indicating if the specific light signal received falls outside of the given threshold. An alarm system receives the alarming signal from the interface unit. The alarm system is activated if the interface unit indicates that the specific light signal falls outside of the given threshold.
