The graphical user interface provides an interactive display that allows a user to dynamically develop his or her own context for displayed document subunits, such as sentences, by means of incremental displays of surrounding material or of material related by other relations or criteria, so that relevant sentences or subunits from a single source or different sources can be retrieved, aggregated, compared, and displayed along with context specifically tailored for each user-relevant sentence or subunit as appropriate.
