  • Publication number: 20230028289
Abstract: The invention relates to a control device for a driver assistance system, wherein the control device comprises a sensor interface via which the control device can be connected to at least one sensor module to receive data from the at least one sensor module, a power processor which is adapted to detect objects and to provide object data based on the data from the at least one sensor module, and a system interface via which the control device can be connected to a higher-level control device of the driver assistance system for forwarding object data provided by the power processor.

  • Patent number: 6762521
Abstract: A drive unit for fans in vehicles has a brushless DC motor and an electronic actuation system. The electronic actuation system is surrounded by a housing made of plastics that supports the DC motor. The housing has an integrally molded bearing sleeve for mounting the rotor of the DC motor, which is configured as an external rotor. The upper part of the housing is the only supporting component of the drive unit.

  • Patent number: 6600284
Abstract: In an arrangement for detecting obstacles, particularly during the automatic closing of convertible tops, motor-vehicle windows or the like, a capacitive sensor device is provided, made up of an electrically conductive transmitter area on the one side and an electrically conductive sensor wire and at least one essentially potential-free metal area on the other side of an insulator, the transmitter area and the sensor wire being linked to an evaluation circuit.

  • Patent number: 6486681
Abstract: In a measuring circuit for a capacitive sensor for distance measurement and/or space monitoring comprising sensor wire and shielding electrode, a sine signal is applied to the shielding electrode. The sensor wire is connected, via a shielded cable, with one input of an input amplifier which serves as current-voltage converter and whose supply voltage is likewise influenced by the sine signal. The output of the input amplifier is connected with one input of a phase-dependent rectifier arrangement, the sine signal is applied to the other input of the phase-dependent rectifier arrangement, and its output is connected to an analog-to-digital converter.

  • Patent number: 6061002
Abstract: A parking device for a motor vehicle has a movement sensor, at least one distance sensor, a control unit, a unit for outputting driving directions, the control unit calculating circular segments for a possible drive path of the motor vehicle in parking space, so that the a unit for outputting driving directions output driving and steering directions optically or acoustically to a driver of the motor vehicle, the control unit being formed so that for a rearward parking the driving and steering directions are provided only for a partial path of a total parking path.

  • Patent number: 5872507
Abstract: In a procedure for non-contact distance measurement, in particular to measure the distance from obstacles in the immediate vicinity of motor vehicles, measurements are made using a first measuring procedure, and in a first measuring range absolute values of the respective distance are determined. Using a second measuring procedure, relative values are determined in a second measuring range that overlaps the first. Absolute values of the first measuring procedure, which lie inside the overlapping range, are used to calibrate the relative values of the second measuring procedure.
