  • Publication number: 20070181162
Abstract: A method for determining at least one of the type and the quantity of items to be washed in a dishwasher machine is provided for use with a dishwashing machine having a washing chamber in which the items are placed in receptacles for subsequent washing of the items during a dishwashing program with the respective disposition of the items in the receptacles constituting the load of the receptacles in the washing chamber of the dishwasher machine. The method includes detecting the load of the receptacles by an image detection system that measures distances in a non-contact manner by means of the speed of light such that the measured distances can be evaluated to obtain a three-dimensional image of the washing chamber.

  • Publication number: 20070155642
Abstract: Water-soluble detergents and enzymes are used for mechanically cleaning textiles or crockery. According to the invention, enzymes with a catalytic effect on typical stains are added to the washing or cleaning process, only for as long as their catalytic effect is desired. This avoids superfluous removal of the enzymes that have been used in a washing or cleaning process.

  • Publication number: 20070144558
Abstract: A dish washing machine is provided having a dosing device operable to add an additive product into the dishwasher, the dosing device being operatively connected to an arrangement that separately stores the basic chemical products of an all-round additive product independent of one another. The dosing device is operable to independently add into the dishwasher one basic chemical product not used for clear rinsing of the all-round additive product, at least two, but not all, of the basic chemical products of the all-round additive product together, or at least one reaction mixture consisting of the basic chemical products of the all-round additive product.

  • Publication number: 20070131259
Abstract: A method for operating a dishwasher machine (1), in particular a domestic dishwasher machine, in which in order to eliminate odors, the air located in a washing container (2) is passed by a photocatalytic layer (5) exposed to a light source (6) in order to oxidise the odour-forming molecules contained in the air. According to the invention, this is carried out during a standstill phase of the dishwasher machine (1).

  • Publication number: 20060254623
Abstract: A dishwasher is provided that allows the dishes that are to be cleaned that have been placed in a cleaning container to be washed and dried efficiently from an economic perspective while keeping the energy consumption associated therewith as low as possible. The dishwasher includes a washing container and a conduit system that is connected in an air-conveying manner to the washing container. A heat tube of the conduit system is used for both cooling, and thus drying, and heating air penetrating the washing container and both ends of the heat tube protrude into the washing container.

  • Publication number: 20060185190
Abstract: A method for operating an appliance includes at least one drying cycle, which makes it possible to operate appliances comprising at least one drying cycle as economically as possible while efficiently drying the material that is to be dried and keeping the energy consumption associated therewith as low as possible. Air contained in a processing space is conducted out of and back into the processing space during the drying cycle via a conduit system into which both ends of a heat tube protrude. The air is cooled while being directed through the conduit system such that humidity is removed therefrom, whereupon the air is heated again.
