  • Patent number: 7780100
Abstract: A nozzle head, having a feed line for a high-pressurized fluid, a channel for delivering an abrasive substance, with which the fluid can be loaded, as well as a discharge line, from which the fluid, loaded with abrasive substance, can issue, is designed such that the feed line and the channel run parallel or almost parallel to each other, and that the discharge line issues sideways from the nozzle head so as to run at an angle to the feed line.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 17, 2006
Date of Patent: August 24, 2010
    Assignee: Hammelmann Maschinenfabrik GmbH
    Inventors: Egbert Helmig, Alwin Goering

  • Publication number: 20060035567
Abstract: A process for removing inclusions (6), in particular silicates, present in the surface region of a welding seam (3), which is manufactured using shielding gas and which joins metallic components (4) to one another is designed in such a manner that the welding seam (3) is impinged by several jets (5) of a fluid medium that is subject to high pressure and by using different angles of incidence.

  • Patent number: 6913266
Abstract: A sealing device for a shaft (2) or rod which is movably disposed in a guide arranged between a high-pressure space (10) and a low-pressure area (11) of a pressure-resistant housing (1) bounding the high-pressure space (10), and which is surrounded by a sealing ring (3), is further developed such that the sealing ring (3) is partially deformed by means of a deformable pressure ring (4) supported under pressure at the outer circumference and circumferentially rests against the shaft (2) or the rod or almost rests against the shaft (2) or the rod.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 6840315
Abstract: A device for cleaning an inner pipe which comprises a nozzle head comprised of a feed borehole axially disposed therein, at least two rotation nozzles communicating with the feed borehole, at least two cleaning nozzles communicating with the feed borehole and a shaft. A rinsing nozzle communicates with the feed borehole and extends upwardly at an angle from the longitudinal axis of the feed borehole. The shaft is received in an outer sleeve whereby when the device is inserted into an inner pipe and a medium is flowed through the borehole and out of the rotation nozzles a force is generated when the medium emerging from the rotation nozzles contacts the wall of the inner pipe which force causes the nozzle head to rotate.

  • Publication number: 20030189296
Abstract: A sealing device for a movable shaft arranged between a high-pressure space and a low-pressure area of a pressure-resistant housing bounding the high pressure space. The sealing device includes a deformable pressure ring and a sealing ring that surrounds the shaft and is partially deformed by the deformable pressure ring. The pressure ring is supported under pressure at an outer circumference of the sealing ring, with the sealing ring resting either against or almost against the shaft.
