  • Patent number: 9845906
Abstract: A release clip for a tube connector is provided for use in a system with flowing fluid. The tube connector includes a housing with an opening through which the flowing fluid passes, and is arranged for secure and sealing connection with a tube which is inserted in the connector. In the housing there is mounted a circular gripper ring which grips the tube. The release clip has a tubular circular release body which is split along its longitudinal axis and includes an integral hinge, thus enabling it to be mounted around the tube that has to be released and the length of the release body in its longitudinal direction is at least equal to the distance extending from the housing's opening to the gripper ring.

  • Patent number: 8287006
Abstract: A tube coupling system (1) for a pressurised fluid system comprising a coupling body (3) for receiving a tube (5) of a pressurized fluid system, a leakage seal (7) for preventing fluid supplied from the pressurized fluid system via the tube to enter the coupling body (3), a gripping member (9) for gripping the outer surface of the tube (5) received in the coupling body (3), and an environment seal (11) for preventing intrusion from outside of the coupling body (3), characterized in that said environment seal (11) is at least partially displaceable and arranged to be pressed at least partially off a sealing seat when there is internal fluid pressure in the coupling body (3) resulting in a fluid stream out of the coupling body (3) and said fluid stream to the outside of the coupling body (3) indicates a leakage from the pressurized fluid system.

  • Patent number: 7891710
Abstract: A connector for use in a system for flowing fluid, having at least one cup-shaped female part, in which an adapted male part on another connector is intended to be sealingly and securely mounted, wherein the female part has integral longitudinal locking tangs which have their free ends pointing in the direction of insertion of a male part into the female part, the free ends of the locking tangs projecting into the space in the female part for engaging with a male part, and wherein the locking tangs have at least one recess which can be used by a tool to urge the locking tangs apart so that the male part and the female part can be disengaged from one another.

  • Publication number: 20100308572
Abstract: This invention relates to a tube coupling system (1) for a pressurised fluid system comprising a coupling body (3) for receiving a tube (5) of a pressurised fluid system, a leakage sealing means (7) for preventing fluid supplied from the pressurised fluid system via the tube to enter the coupling body (3), a gripping means (9) for gripping the outer surface of the tube (5) received in the coupling body (3), and an environment sealing means (11) for preventing intrusion from outside of the coupling body (3), characterised in that said environment sealing means (11) is at least partially displaceable and arranged to be pressed at least partially off a sealing seat when there is internal fluid pressure in the coupling body (3) resulting in a fluid stream out of the coupling body (3) and said fluid stream to the outside of the coupling body (3) indicates a leakage from the pressurised fluid system.

  • Publication number: 20080309079
Abstract: The invention relates to a release clip (1) for a tube connector for use in a system with flowing fluid. The tube connector includes a housing (11) with an opening through which the flowing fluid passes, and is arranged for secure and sealing connection with a tube (10) which is inserted in the connector. In the housing there is mounted a circular gripper ring (13) which grips the tube (10). The release clip (1) is characterised in that the release clip has a tubular circular release body (2) which is split (5) along its longitudinal axis and comprises an integral hinge (9, 6), thus enabling it to be mounted round the tube that has to be released and the length of the release body in its longitudinal direction is at least equal to the distance extending from the housing's opening to the gripper ring.

  • Publication number: 20060157979
Abstract: Coupling part for use in a system with flowing fluid, with an integral male part (1) to be sealingly mounted and retained upon aksial insertion into an adapted female part on another coupling part, the female part has at least one internal annular groove or a step for locking the male part. The male part (1) has, for engaging with the annular groove or grooves, steps, integral locking tongues (2, 3), respectively. The free ends of the locking tongues are pointing oppositely of the direction of insertion for the male part (1) into female part, and all the locking tongues are projecting slanting outwardly or have hooks projecting outwardly. The male part of the female part may be provided with at least one sealing element.

  • Publication number: 20040239110
Abstract: A supporting sleeve that is to be used in a tube coupling. The supporting sleeve causes an internal stiffening against compression of the end of a tube inserted in the coupling. The supporting sleeve is a separate part that is mounted in a bore in the coupling. The supporting sleeve includes a deformable collar that externally is conical and narrows in the direction of insertion. The edge of the collar has a diameter mainly corresponding to or exceeding the diameter of the bore.
