  • Patent number: 7059556
Abstract: A thread supplying device provided with a housing containing an electric motor wherein the stator is non-rotatingly mounted and the rotor is rotatingly mounted on a motor shaft. A thread guiding element is fixed to the motor shaft and a threader device which is fixed to the housing is also provided. When the motor shaft is in a set rotational position, the thread guiding element is physically associated with said threader device. A permanent magnet motor with pole cores provided with windings is integrated into the stator and permanent magnets are integrated into the rotor in such a way that the stator, rotor and the thread guiding element are arranged relative to the housing, in such a way that the motor shaft adopts the set position of rotation when the permanent magnet motor is devoid of electric current in a stable relative position of rotation, caused by magnetic forces, of the rotor in the stator.

A thread guiding element is fixed to the motor shaft and a threader device which is fixed to the housing is also provided. When the motor shaft is in a set position of rotation, the thread guiding element must be physically associated with said threader device. A permanent magnet motor with pole cores provided with windings is integrated into the stator and permanent magnets are integrated into the rotor in such a way that the stator, rotor and the thread guiding element are arranged relative to the housing, in relation to the axis of the motor shaft, in such a way that the motor shaft adopts the set position of rotation when the permanent magnet motor is devoid of electric current in a stable relative position of rotation, caused by magnetic forces, of the rotor in the stator.

  • Patent number: 6082654
Abstract: A yarn feeder (F) including a holding device (H) for holding a yarn braking body in an extension arm (2, 2a) of a housing, a support body (6a) for a holder (5) of the yarn braking body (4) and a moving drive including a cylindrical piston (6b) which is movable in a cylinder (7) to move the yarn braking body (4) between a braking position and a gap position relative to a storage body (3) of the yarn feeder (F). The piston (6b) is arranged as an integrated guide element of the support body (6a) on the support body (6a). At least one guide nose (9) which engages into a guide track (10) fixed onto the extension arm is provided as a rotation preventing member on the piston and/or on the support body at a transverse distance from the piston axis (X).

  • Patent number: 5947403
Abstract: A yarn feeding device with a housing, a storage body, an extension arm of said housing, and a holder in the extension arm for an annular yarn braking body which can axially be pressed against the storage body. The holder in said extension arm being slidably guided and being movable between a braking position and a gap position with respect to the storage body. A quick adjustment mechanism which can be manually actuated by means of a handle is provided on or in the extension arm for the holder and allows the holder to be moved in a single stroke from the braking position into the gap position.

  • Patent number: 4318285
Abstract: An apparatus for the positive delivery of thread to a circular knitting machine having a plurality of movable belts which are positioned at different heights. A plurality of conveyor rollers are associated with the belts and are supported on a machine support ring. A plurality of cut-off devices individually coact with the conveyor rollers and, when the thread tension lessens, move the respective thread from its conveying position, in which it is movably clamped between one of the belts and its respective conveyor roller, into a rest position in which the thread lies outside of the belt. A number of the conveyor rollers, each of which corresponds with one of the belts, are individually rotatably but coaxially supported about a common axis defined by a support which projects from a holder, which holder is secured to the support ring. An elongated guide bar is also secured to the holder in sidewardly spaced but parallel relationship with respect to the common axis.
