  • Patent number: 6304745
Abstract: A method of establishing a radio chain between a calling radio station and a called radio station in a radiocommunications network, including first steps (110 to 140) in which a list (L) is created for the calling radio station (2) containing information (S=2, R=4; 6) on radio links to neighboring stations (4, 6), and also including steps (151 to 160) in which the list (L, L′, L″) is extended step by step by adding information (S=6, R=7; 8; 9) on radio links to the radio stations (7; 8; 9) adjacent to the neighboring radio stations (6) until information (S=8; R=1) on a radio link leading to the called radio station (1) is entered in the list (L″). The list (L″) contains no superfluous information, but only information required to establish the shortest possible radio chain. Also disclosed are a corresponding radio station and a radiocommunications network, which can be a single-channel system.

  • Patent number: 6240092
Abstract: In the radiocommunications system according to the invention, all stations (N1 to N7) transmit radio signals with respective identifications (I1 to I7) assigned to them. Each station (N3) has a memory which holds a first list (LA3) with those identifications (I2; I4) which this station (N3) receives directly from the at least one neighboring station (N2; N4), and a second list (LB3) with those identifications (I3, I1; I3, I5) which the at least one neighboring station (N2; N4) receives directly from its neighboring stations (N3, N1; N3, N5) and routes to said station (N3). The stations therefore need not each contain a scanning receiver in order to avoid simultaneous use of the same frequencies used by neighboring stations for transmission purposes. The stations are therefore simple in construction. The radiocommunications system can also be a single-frequency system.

  • Patent number: 6112230
Abstract: A communication system having one or more master stations and one or more slave stations coupled by a bus for information exchange. The exchange of information is accomplished by transmitting signals in frames, wherein at least one frame includes three channels: an organization channel for transmitting organization information from a master station to a slave station, a request channel for transmitting request information from a slave station to a master station, and at least one communication channel for exchanging communication information between any two stations.
