    Abstract: A mounting arrangement for an engine drive unit, especially for use in motor vehicles, comprises an inner wedge-shaped metal member and an outer frame-like metal member which is symmetrically spaced apart from the wedge-shaped metal member, with separate elastomeric elements arranged between the inner and outer metal members. The elastomeric elements are offset from each other with respect to their effective axes to increase local damping of the vibrations in the low-frequency range.
