Abstract: An electrical device, and in particular a switching and controlling device for motor vehicles, has a housing, a printed circuit board arranged in the housing and fitted with electrical components, and, passing through a housing wall, a plug-and-socket connector which has a first part, connected to the printed circuit board and a second part, parallel to a printed-circuit-board surface and capable of fitting together with the first part. The first and second part of the plug-and-socket connector are arranged over the printed-circuit-board surface.

Abstract: A housing, in particular for electric switchgear and control gear, includes a first housing part and a second housing part to be detachably attached to the former. The housing also includes a lock whose at least one blocking element is movable in a displacement direction from an open position into a closed position by an operating slide connected to it, with the first housing part having at least one element engageable in a recess in the second housing part in the closed position, with a seating face arranged parallel to the displacement direction, and a section of the blocking element being in contact with the seating face on a side of the recess opposite the operating slide.

Abstract: An electrical device with component heat dissipation, particularly a switching and control device for motor vehicles, includes a circuit board arranged in a package. The circuit board is equipped with electrical components, whose heat energy can be dissipated onto the circuit board, and a plug-in connector which has a connecting part connected with the circuit board and a plug-in connector base arranged adjacent to a circuit board surface. The circuit board rests on heat-conductive support surfaces formed inside on the package, and the device has a wedge whose bottom wedge side surface rests against the circuit board surface and whose opposite side engages with a bearing surface on the package in order to press the circuit board against the support surfaces.

Abstract: A device with components arranged on a p.c. board and attached by connector contact pads, fasteners for additionally fixing the components in place, and at least one connector strip positioned above the p.c. board surface and attached to the p.c. board, with the fasteners being structural elements molded on the connector strip, and at least one component being arranged and fixed in place between the structural elements and the p.c. board.

Abstract: A display device for measured values, function, status and trouble indications and the like comprising at least one liquid crystal cell having areas with different coloration of the indications, a light guide extending along at least one of these areas at the back side of the liquid crystal cell for enabling different coloration of the one area and a light source arranged at an end area of the light guide for illuminating the liquid crystal cell.

Abstract: A display apparatus for use in motor vehicle for displaying measured values, functions status and disturbance indications, and the like comprising at least one liquid crystal cell having areas (A, B) with different coloration of the indications. In order to enable a flexible coloration for individual coloring which can be changed or switched at any time, the areas (A, B) with different coloration of indications on the back of a surface of a transmission liquid crystal cell are separated from one another by light shafts in which light sources with corresponding different colors are arranged. The colored light of one light source for one area (A) is screened by a partition from the other area (B) of the liquid crystal cell (FIG. 1).
