    Abstract: The present invention provides a zoom lens provided with, in order from an object side: a first lens group having a positive refractive power whose position on the optical axis is fixed during a zooming operation and a focusing operation; a second lens group having a negative refractive power; a third lens group having a positive refractive power; a fourth lens group having a positive refractive power; a fifth lens group having a negative refractive power; and a sixth lens group having a positive refractive power. The first lens group includes a reflection optical element. At least the fifth lens group is used for focusing on an object at a finite distance.
