  • Patent number: 7932474
Abstract: An illuminated switch comprising a four-way knob and a push knob, wherein the push knob has two legs which slide along a guide surface on an internal pusher member. Tilt activation of the four-way knob results in the push knob also being tilted. When the user has pushed the push knob while the push knob and the four-way knob are in a tilted position, the push knob in conjunction with the four-way knob linearly move backward in the pushed direction, whereby an internal switch and an external switch are operated. The push knob is illuminated by an internal LED by way of a through hole in the internal pusher member.

  • Publication number: 20090308719
Abstract: When a car driver has backwardly pushed a four-way knob, both legs of a push knob slidably move along a guide surface of an internal pusher member, whereby the four-way knob is tilted along with the push knob. When the car driver has backwardly pushed the push knob while the push knob and the four-way knob remain tilted, the push knob linearly, backwardly moves in conjunction with the four-way knob, whereby an internal switch and an external switch are operated. Therefore, the push knob can be illuminated by an internal LED of a switching board by way of a through hole of the internal pusher member.

  • Patent number: 6712329
Abstract: At the time of assembling a door mirror device for a vehicle, a visor rim is assembled, by an elastic hook, a rigid hook and a contact portion, to a frame to which a retracting mechanism and a mirror surface adjusting mechanism are mounted. Then, by fitting together an engaging hook, a projecting hook, and peripheral edges of a visor cover and the visor rim, the visor rim and the visor cover are assembled.

  • Patent number: 6695456
Abstract: In a vehicle door mirror assembly, an outer mirror-holder that holds a rearview mirror is mounted to an inner mirror-holder attached to a vehicle body side. Elastic tabs disposed at the outer mirror-holder elastically press an abutment portion of the inner mirror-holder. Thus, it is possible to maintain an excellent assembled state with respect to the inner mirror-holder and the outer mirror-holder, and to reduce loosening between the inner mirror-holder and the outer mirror-holder. It is therefore also possible to suppress vibration of the mirror with respect to the inner mirror-holder and to improve anti-chattering performance of the mirror.
