  • Patent number: 5270597
Abstract: The stepping motor has 16 stoppable points of a rotor to be driven by a stator controlled by a drive control unit which is connected to one DC source, wherein the stator comprises four (4) phase coils: an A phase coil and an inverse A phase coil, and a B phase coil and an inverse B coil, and each coil has a first terminal at a first end and a second terminal at a second end, and a first stator pole is wound with the A phase coil and the inverse A coil and a second pole is wound with the B phase coil and the inverse B coil, and these poles are disposed alternately to surround the rotor and activated to generate torque for rotating the rotor with stoppable motion at 16 points during one encircling, wherein the drive unit sequentially shifts the DC current in direction and amount to produce, at the rotor, composite torque vectors having revolutional loci.

  • Patent number: 4316204
Abstract: An optoelectronic semiconductor device for use in an optical transmission system, comprising: an optoelectronic semiconductor element; an element housing which seals covers said element; and an optical fiber arranged through a through hole which is formed in said element housing. An end of said fiber faces said element, while the other end thereof projects out of said element housing by a predetermined length. The device is characterized in that a light absorbing material is disposed around said optical fiber within said element housing. Said material substantially absorbs the light emitted from or received by said optoelectronic semiconductor element.

  • Patent number: 4013639
Abstract: Iminodibenzyl derivatives of the formula: ##SPC1##Wherein R and R.sup.1 each represent hydrogen, halogen, amino, sulfamoyl, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy or lower alkanoyl, provided that R and R.sup.1 can not both be hydrogen and when R and R.sup.1 are the same, they are located at positions asymmetric to each other, are produced in high purity and yield by a series of reactions which proceed through novel 2,2'-dinitrostilbene or 2,2'-diaminostilbene and 2,2'-diaminodibenzyl derivatives. The reaction sequence involves condensation, reduction and ring-closure reactions to give asymmetric as well as symmetric iminodibenzyl derivatives. The resulting iminodibenzyl derivatives may be converted to useful pharmaceutical compounds having anti-depressant, analgesic or anti-allergic properties.
