    Abstract: A cutting insert for threading of the present invention includes two opposing end surfaces and a peripheral side surface extending therebetween. The peripheral side surface has a first side surface portion and a second side surface portion arranged at different positions in a circumferential direction. A cutting edge is formed at an intersecting ridgeline portion between the first end surface and the first side surface portion and at least a portion of this cutting edge has a shape corresponding to a thread groove. The second side surface portion has an inclined portion which enlarges outward from the side of the first end surface toward the side of the second end surface. This inclined portion is configured to engage with a side wall surface of a tool body so as to prevent floating of the cutting insert.

    Abstract: A threading cutting insert achieves high shape accuracy of a screw to be processed, and saves on manufacturing cost. Therefore in the threading cutting insert, a plurality of tooth-shaped cutting edges are formed in a cross ridge line portion between a rake face and flanks formed in a cutting side face, wherein the plurality of mountain-shaped cutting edges provides at least one finishing cutting edge for transferring a shape of a screw, and at least one roughing cutting edge formed in a tooth shape smaller than that of the finishing cutting edge. A flank of the finishing cutting edge includes a first flank, and a second flank having a clearance angle larger than that of the first flank, wherein the finishing cutting edge, the first flank, and the second flank are sequentially provided in that order from the rake surface in a direction of a lower surface of the insert.

    Abstract: A tape cassette including a housing of two sections joined with a magnetic tape inside has in its front wall a center opening for magnetic head and two openings for capstan insertion, each housing section having a U-shaped guide joined to a partition behind one capstan opening. In each housing section the U-shaped guide has a pair of guide ribs formed on the opening side and having a height greater than the tape width, and a wall supporting the rear portions of the guide ribs and partitions formed at the rear of the center opening and the other opening are all formed to a height about half that of the guide ribs.

    Abstract: In a case for holding a magnetic tape cassette comprising a lid and an inner enclosure formed of a planar bottom wall portion having a pair of spool stops projecting inwardly from its inner side and edge walls formed along the periphery of the bottom portion excepting a part of it and extending perpendicularly to that portion, one of the edge walls being formed with a thumb recess, the inner enclosure is made by a mold with a gate inlet so that the bottom portion has a gate mark on its outer side at a point where that portion meets the edge wall formed with the thumb recess, at a right angle to it, and underneath the recess. The planar bottom portion and peripheral edge walls are molded together in one piece. The gate mark is located at the point on an extension of a line intersecting the midpoint of a straight line that connects the two spool stops, on the outer side of the planar bottom portion, and extending at right angles to the straight line.
