    Abstract: A resin composition for coating comprising (A) a polyester-modified vinyl copolymer obtained by copolymerization of (a) a polyester resin having 5 to 60% by weight of oil or fatty acid component with special physical limitations, (b) a polymerizable unsaturated monomer having at least one tertiary amino group, (c) a polymerizable unsaturated monomer having at least one carboxyl group, and (d) an unsaturated monomer copolymerizable with the components (b) or (c), and (B) an epoxy resin can be cured at room temperature or with slight heating to give a coating film excellent in dispersibility of pigment having large oil absorption.
