    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a wafer processing device includes a processed number counting unit that counts a number of processed wafers, and a maintenance post-processing unit that executes a dummy lot process and a QC lot process after a maintenance process. A wafer preparation device prepares the dummy lot and the QC lot, when a first processed number is counted by the processed number counting unit. When a second processed number is counted by the processed number counting unit, a carrier device carries the dummy lot and the QC lot to the wafer processing device simultaneous with the maintenance process, before the maintenance process is completed.

A spindle device is mounted on an outer end of the spindle stock at a position off the center. The spindle stock may be an arm rotatable about a longitudinal center thereof, or substantially disc-shaped. The support base has an annular support member disposed on a front surface thereof coaxially with the center, the spindle stock includes a slidable member held in slidable contact with the annular support member.

    Abstract: A method for printing designs, patterns, characters, letters, and other desired images on an object having a convex or raised surface, wherein the images to be transferred onto the object is first carried on a flexible image carrier, then this flexible image carrying medium is disposed in a mutually opposed relationship with the object to be printed at a predetermined space interval provided therebetween, thereafter the flexible image carrying medium is caused to expand or bulge out toward the raised surface of the object to be printed by a fluid pressure to act on the flexible medium from one side thereof opposite to that where the image is carried, while controlling a degree of expansion of the flexible image carrying medium is controlled by a restrictive frame for the flexible image carrying medium to attain an intimate contact between the flexible image carrying medium and the object to be printed over the entire surface thereof.
