  • Patent number: 8695588
Abstract: A nebulizer capable of supplying oxygen gas of high concentration by increasing the flow rate of the oxygen gas and capable of forming minute aerosol irrespective of a change in the flow rate of the oxygen gas. A nebulizer (A) has a nozzle member (11) for discharging oxygen gas from an orifice (11b), an aerosol forming member (12) mounted at a position corresponding to the orifice, sucking water by suction created by flow of the oxygen gas discharged from the orifice, and forming the sucked water into minute aerosol, and a window (9) and a slit (10) which suck air as the oxygen gas is discharged from the orifice of the nozzle member. The nozzle member (11) has, in addition to the orifice (11b), an oxygen gas outflow section formed in a direction different from that of the orifice and causing supplied oxygen gas to flow thereout according to the pressure of the oxygen gas.

  • Patent number: 6783518
Abstract: The object of this invention of a float for liquid waste disposal apparatus enables the content inside a container to be easily visually recognizable and allows a faster and steadier solidification of an absorbed liquid waste. The connection plates 5c connects the annular member 5a serving as the guide member to the outer peripheral portion of the cup portion 5b retaining the water-absorptive material 6 wherein the annular member 5a is restrained by the inner wall 26 of the lying member L for preventing the float 5 from revolving in the vertical direction. The liquid waste 21 absorbed from the upper portion and into the lying member L flows downward via the flow path structured with the interstitial portion 27 formed between the annular member 5a and the cup portion 5b and the interstitial portion 28 formed between the inner wall 26 of the lying member L and the annular member 5a.

  • Patent number: 6272858
Abstract: A master cylinder includes a cylinder, a piston slidably provided in the cylinder, an annular cup seal held on an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder, and a relief port formed in the piston. The piston and the cylinder define a pressure chamber for generating fluid pressure in front of the piston, and the cylinder and an outer circumferential surface of the piston define a fluid supply chamber which communicates with a reservoir. The cup seal is adapted to slide against the outer circumferential surface of the piston to separate the fluid supply chamber from the pressure chamber. The relief port provides communication between the pressure chamber and the fluid supply chamber. A control taper surface is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the piston rearwardly from the relief port. The control taper surface is tapered toward the front of the piston and is capable of abutting against an inner circumferential surface of the cup seal.

  • Patent number: 5790322
Abstract: An optical system for magnifying a display panel includes a magnifying lens disposed in front of a display panel. The magnifying lens is constructed with two lenses respectively having convex surfaces opposite each other. At least one of the two convex surfaces is aspherical. A transverse aberration of the magnifying lens is less than the diameter of the pupil of an eye at a point where the eye is positioned. The lens for the optical system is a Fresnel lens whose vortex center is located on its edge. An apparatus for magnifying display panels according to the invention includes an instrument to be viewed distantly and instruments to be viewed not distantly. The instrument to be viewed distantly is disposed distant from the Fresnel lens under a center portion of the Fresnel lens, whereas the instruments to be viewed not distantly are disposed close to the Fresnel lens under an edge portion of the Fresnel lens.

  • Patent number: 4240697
Abstract: A zoom lens system is constructed of a focusing member, variator, compensator and an image-forming lens arranged on a common optical axis in this order with respect to incident light to function as a master lens. The image-forming lens is divided into an intrinsic exchangeable front part and a fixed rear part so that when the front part is substituted by an attachment lens. The range of variation of the equivalent focal length of the master lens can be shifted toward longer focal lengths without causing any change in the back focal distance as it is so required because of the fixed rear part of the image-forming lens with the constant back of photographic lens. The attachment lens is constructed from at least two lens groups axially spaced from each other, each of which is provided with a rearwardly concave negative meniscus-shaped air space to prevent the reduction of high grade imagery of the master lens which would be otherwise resulted by the above-identified substitution.
