Abstract: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed. The light-sensitive material comprises a support comprising a substrate and an electron beam-cured resin layer provided on a surface of the substrate, and a hydrophilic colloid layer provided on said resin layer. The resin layer comprises an electron beam-curable composition cured by electron beam radiation and a white pigment in an amount of 20% to 70% by weight. The hydrophilic colloid layer includes at least one silver halide emulsion layer and optionally a non-light-sensitive hydrophilic colloid layer, and contains gelatin and an oil component. In the light-sensitive material, the curling degree of the support R m.sup.-1, the coating amount of the gelatin G g/m.sup.2, and the coating amount of the oil component Oi g/m.sup.2 are each -8.ltoreq.R.ltoreq.-1, 2.ltoreq.G.ltoreq.20 and 0.ltoreq.Oi.ltoreq.20, respectively, and a value Y calculated by the following equation is -3.ltoreq.Y.ltoreq.5;Y=0.9G-0.
Abstract: A method of processing a silver halide color light-sensitive material is disclosed. The material has a silver halide emulsion layer on one side of a photographic support of less than 100 .mu.m thickness and a backing layer on the other side and is processed while being conveyed in a developing machine, wherein the conveying tension in the processing machine is not more than 700 g, and the following formula applies:(30.times.D)+(2.times.E)-(600.times..mu.k).gtoreq.3,000wherein D is the thickness (.mu.m) of the photographic support; E is the Young modulus of elasticity (kg/mm.sup.2) of the photographic support in a wet state; .mu.k is the coefficient of friction between the backing layer and the conveying roller in the processing machine in the wet state.The method provides continuous efficient processing with good film conveyability, with no folding on sides of the silver halide photographic light-sensitive material during processing using a developing machine.

Abstract: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprises a polyester film support having curling in the lateral direction, a first side of the support being curled outwardly and a second side of the support being curled inwardly, a silver halide emulsion layer provided on the first side of the support, and a backing layer provided on the second side of the support, the ratio of the total gelatin content per unit area of the backing layer to that of the silver halide emulsion layer being within the range of from 0.05 to 0.7.
Abstract: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material, having provided at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support and a back coating layer on the other side thereof, wherein the support has a loss modules at 50.degree.C. of 0.03 or more, is disclosed. Abstract: A method for manufacturing a polyester film is disclosed which comprises a polyester film before completion of orienting crystalization and, provided thereon, a sublayer comprising a copolymer containing 70 to 99.5 wt % of vinylidene chloride, and an antistatic layer comprising an ionic polymer, in that order. A coating solution is coated on the polyester film to form the sublayer with a dry thickness of 1 to 20 g/m.sup.2. The total solid content of the coating solution is not less than 4 wt %, and the coating solution contains a latex of the copolymer with an average particle size of 0.05 to 0.3 .mu.m. Heat is applied at a temperature not less than 30.degree. higher than the melting point of the copolymer, and the antistatic layer is formed on the sublayer.

Abstract: A silver halide photographic material having a layer containing an electrically conductive material formed on one surface of a support and at least one silver halide emulsion layer formed on the other surface of the support is disclosed, wherein the outermost layer on the side where the silver halide emulsion layer is formed contains an organopolysiloxane and a nonionic surfactant having a polyoxyethylene unit, the latter being optionally combined with, or replaced by, a fluorine-containing compound.
Abstract: A silver halide photographic material that has at least one hydrophilic colloidal layer on a support is disclosed, wherein said at least one hydrophilic colloidal layer contains an organic fluoro-compound and/or a nonionic surfactant having a polyoxuehylene unit and is hardened with a high-molecular weight hardening agent.
