  • Patent number: 6494197
Abstract: Disclosed is a dicing machine for cutting a CSP plate into pellets and for transferring and putting them in a transport tray. The pick-up-and-transport means picks a selected pellet from a diced CSP plate to carry and put the so selected pellet in an allotted cell in a transport tray. On the way to the transport tray storage area, there is cleaning means for wiping and removing minute pieces of debris if any from the rear side of each pellet. The cleaning means includes a wiper in the form of rotary sponge roll, which is wet with washing liquid, and is rotated to expose its clean surface to each pellet all the time.

  • Patent number: 6386191
Abstract: Disclosed is a CSP plate holder for use in dicing a CSP plate into individual pellets and in transporting and putting them in a transport tray. The CSP plate holder is composed of a flat plate for sucking and fixedly holding a CSP plate thereon. The flat plate has pellet areas each allotted to each of the individual pellets. Each pellet area has a through hole for sucking and fixedly holding the pellet while the CSP plate is being diced. Each pellet area has at least one suction hole for sucking and fixedly holding the pellet while the CSP plate is being transported. The flat plate has duct passages permitting the suction holes to communicate with a suction source for applying a suction force to the pellet. In addition, the flat plate has at least one minute through hole made in each pellet area.

  • Patent number: 5472652
Abstract: As a pair of fastener tapes is supplied through a molding machine and then through a fiber hardening agent applying and impregnating unit, a predetermined length of coupling element rows are molded on and along confronting beaded edges of the fastener tapes, and simultaneously a separable bottom stop assembly composed of a pin member and a box member and top stops are molded about one ends and the other ends of the coupling element rows, whereupon a fiber hardening agent is applied over and impregnated in the tape surfaces of the prospective bottom end portions by the fiber hardening agent applying and impregnating unit.

  • Patent number: 4858284
Abstract: A separable bottom end stop includes first and second end stop members mounted on respective stringer tapes of a slide fastener at lowermost ends of the rows of coupling elements. The first end stop member has a first finger on an end thereof and a tooth remote from the first finger, and the second end stop member has a second finger on an end thereof for interfitting engagement with the first finger and an elastic wall remote from the second finger and positioned for being elastically deformable by pressed engagement with the tooth. The first and second end stop members having a combined width normally greater than the smallest distance between flanges of a slider to be mounted on the rows of coupling elements. When the elastic wall is elastically deformed by pressed engagement with the tooth at the time the end stop members are forcibly passed through the slider between the flanges, the combined width is reduced to an extent smaller than the smallest distance between the slider flanges.

  • Patent number: 4831709
Abstract: Each of coupling elements mounted on a slide fastener stringer tape has a coupling head and two legs extending from the coupling head and mounted astride of a longitudinal beaded edge of the stringer tape, the legs being integrally interconnected by a connector extending through the stringer tape. The coupling elements are removed from the stringer tape by gripping the stringer tape between a pair of grippers with the coupling elements supported on the grippers, thrusting cutting edges into the coupling head of each coupling element toward the longitudinal beaded edge to break the coupling head, and driving wedge-shaped spreaders into each coupling element through the broken coupling head thereof to spread each coupling element until the connector is forcibly broken, for thereby breaking each coupling element into two pieces off the stringer tape.
