The method comprises: processing stripes of the first image data sequentially; processing stripes of the second image data sequentially; outputting a first sequence of first data units interleaved with a second sequence of second data units, wherein each of the first data units represents a processed stripe of first image data and each of the second data units represents a processed stripe of second image data.
