Abstract: To provide a mounting member comprising a ridge that is long in one direction and fixed to a desired position on a formwork in a simple manner, to form a desired groove portion in a concrete flat plate. The mounting member that is mounted on a formwork used to fabricate a concrete flat plate, and the mounting member comprises: a base material; a ridge portion that is provided on the base material and projects against an inner surface of the formwork; and a fixing portion that fixes the ridge portion to the inner surface.

Abstract: A silver halide photographic plate and a pattern transfer method comprising forming an original picture pattern on a first photographic plate having a silver halide emulsion layer on a glass support and contact transferring the original picture pattern onto a second photographic plate having a silver halide emulsion layer on a glass support or a substrate having a photoresist layer,characterized in that the first and second photographic plates comprise a silver halide emulsion contained in the emulsion layer which is a silver iodobromide emulsion containing 8 mol % or less of silver iodide and with its mean grain size being 0.1 .mu.m or less; or contain a silver halide emulsion in the emulsion layer which contains 50 mol % or more of silver chloride; andthat at least one of the first and second photographic plates has an emulsion layer with surface roughness of 0.3 .mu.m to 3 .mu.m, anda silver halide photographic plate to be used for the method.

Abstract: A process for manufacturing heat-insulating firebricks wherein an alumina cement, a water-soluble styrene maleic resin and water are added to a mixture containing a refractory aggregate, an inorganic binder and a granular foamed polystyrene, the resultant mixture being then kneaded and cast in a mold. The added amounts of alumina cement and water-soluble styrene maleic resin are small and water is added to an extent of not more than 50% by weight. The alumina content in the alumina cement is between 8 and 75% by weight.
