  • Publication number: 20160103209
Abstract: A laser ranging unit is rotatably attached to a camera body by a hinge unit. The camera body has a first imaging unit and a laser radiation position specification unit. The laser ranging unit has a laser radiation unit, a laser receiving unit, a second imaging unit, and a distance calculation unit. The first imaging unit images a first range to generate a first image. The laser radiation unit is able to radiate a laser beam in an arbitrary direction within the first range. The laser receiving unit receives a reflected beam of the laser beam. The second imaging unit images a second range including a radiation position of the laser beam within the first range to generate a second image. The laser radiation position specification unit searches for a portion matching the second image in the first image to specify the radiation position in the first image. The distance calculation unit calculates the distance to the radiation position based on the time of receiving the reflected beam.

  • Patent number: 8855417
Abstract: When an image is captured in a wood lumber measuring mode, a distance to wood lumber is detected. An area extracting unit 51 for a component drawing image area extracts component image areas 53A-53L of the wood lumber. A drawing generator 61 for a component drawing image selects the component image areas 53A-53L successively to generate a component drawing image 62. Among shape lines in the component drawing image 62, an eliminator 66 eliminates a paracentral shape line 71, an edge side shape line 72, a peripheral shape line 73 and determined shape lines 74. If a total pixel number of a portion where an estimated elliptical shape 76 generated by a shape estimation unit 67 is overlapped on a residual shape line 75 disposed inside a corrected drawing image 64 is more than a threshold, it is judged that the estimated elliptical shape 76 is correctly shaped. An object shape determining unit 83 extracts the estimated elliptical shape 76 as a shape of wood lumber.

  • Publication number: 20130002826
Abstract: Appropriate selection of calibration data by shortening process time without wasteful processing is provided. Before measuring a three dimensional point of a target object from a stereo image, the calibration data according to an in-focus position of taking optical systems are applied to the stereo image. To select the calibration data, an object distance is acquired according to parallax obtained from the stereo image being reduced. The object distance is an estimated focusing distance corresponding to the in-focus position. One of the calibration data assigned with a set distance region in which the estimated focusing distance is included is selected. Respective view images are reduced in a range in which it is possible to detect any one of the set distance regions determined for a respective reference focusing distance corresponding to the calibration data.

  • Patent number: 8224187
Abstract: The main power source unit of an image read-out device supplies power to an laser diode (LD) power supply unit of an electronic cassette through a contact. The LD power supply unit supplies the supplied power to a laser diode (LD), as power used for emitting laser light, and also supplies a portion of the supplied power to an LD power supply unit of the image read-out device through a contact. The power supplied to the LD power supply unit of the image read-out device is supplied as power for emitting laser light to an LD of the image read-out device. When there is a change in the relative position of the casings of the electronic cassette and the image read-out device, the contact and electrical continuation of the contacts breaks and laser light stops being emitted from the LDs.

  • Patent number: 8199147
Abstract: A subject is imaged at a predetermined time interval by a plurality of imaging units which obtains a plurality of images having a parallax of a subject viewed from different viewpoints by imaging the subject from different viewpoints. An evaluation value which includes at least one of a luminance and a high frequency component of the images obtained by the imaging units at the predetermined time interval is calculated. When the evaluation value has changed by an amount exceeding a predetermined threshold value, the distance information calculation and three-dimensional processing on the plurality of images and object are performed. Here, a relative position of the object with respect to the three-dimensional image in a three-dimensional space is changed based on the distance information such that overlapping of the object and the three-dimensional image on top of each other is prevented when the three-dimensional display is performed.

  • Patent number: 8130259
Abstract: When an end portion of a three-dimensional image appears to pop forward from a display surface, a predetermined end area is set at a periphery of images forming the three-dimensional image to modify at least one of the images to modify the stereoscopic effect so that at least a part of the end portion appears to be level with the display surface. A disparity between corresponding pixels in the end area of the images is modified so that the disparity is gradually decreased toward the end of the images, and image parts at left and right areas of the end area of a reference image among the images are deformed based on the disparity. At least one of the images is modified by modifying the image other than the reference image with the deformed image parts of the end area. Then, three-dimensional processing is applied to the modified images.

  • Patent number: 7899418
Abstract: A mobile device is equipped with a transmitting function to transmit data. When a power switch is turned off during data transmission, a transition is made to a transmission-during-power-off mode that continues data transmission. The transition to the transmission-during-power-off mode is performed when an inquiry is made on a screen as to whether transmission will be performed and “continue” is subsequently selected. In this mode, even when the mobile device with the power switch being turned off is carried around, data transmission is continued and data is recorded into a storage section of a home personal computer.

  • Publication number: 20110025828
Abstract: Multiple marks are attached to a subject. A camera shift direction is set to the right direction. Before capturing Nth (N is a natural number equal to or larger than 2) L and R images, (N?1)th L and R images are read from a memory card, and feature points common to the (N?1)th L and R images are extracted. At least three feature points located in a right edge portion of each of the (N?1)th L and R images are selected as guide points. The right edge portion containing all three guide points is cut out from each of the (N?1)th L and R images to generate L and R guide images which guide a next camera position. The L and R guide images are combined into the left edge portions of the L and R images (through images), respectively. The combined images are displayed on an LCD.

  • Patent number: 7631256
Abstract: A Web page is displayed on a display screen of a digital camera. The Web page is composed of an image corresponding to one frame. When a radio button corresponding area is clicked, a http request indicating that the radio button corresponding area is clicked is transmitted from the digital camera to a conversion server. In the conversion server, a Web page in which the clicked radio button corresponding area is marked with a solid circle is generated. A html response representing the generated Web page is transmitted from the conversion server to the digital camera. The Web page in which the clicked radio button corresponding area is marked with a solid circle is displayed on the display screen of the digital camera. The radio button function of the Web page can be substantially utilized.
