  • Patent number: 7926818
Abstract: A gasket to securely contact a box type body when both a body and a cover are downsized and thinned. Fluid leakage is prevented through a seal by lessening repulsion of the seal at the time of sealing clearance between. A clearance between the box type body and the cover is made such that a main body is adhered to a bottom surface of the cover having a peripheral wall. A step face is formed by the main body and a lip portion formed at the tip side of the main body. A contact surface is formed by a side wall of the main body and a peripheral wall. The step surface is positioned outside with respect to the lip portion.

  • Publication number: 20080157485
Abstract: To enable the gasket (3) to securely contact with the box type body (2) when both the body and the cover (1) are downsized and thinned, and prevent fluid leakage through the seal by lessening repulsion of the seal at the time of sealing the clearance between two members (1, 2) to avoid excessive deformation of the cover (1), the gasket (3) and the structure for sealing the clearance between the two members is made such that the main body (31) is adhered to the bottom surface (11) of the cover (1) having the peripheral wall (12), the step face (36) is formed by the body (31) and the lip portion (32) formed at the tip side of the body (31), the contact surface (35) is formed by the side wall (34) of the body (31) and the peripheral wall (12), and the step surface (36) is positioned at the outside from the lip portion (32).

  • Publication number: 20080150240
Abstract: A sealing structure sealing a clearance between a base (1) having a storage part (11) and a cover (2) joined to the base (1) so as to close the storage part (11) through a gasket (4) formed of a rubber-like elastic material. The base (1) and the cover (2) comprise side peripheral surfaces (12a) and (22a) opposed to each other in a direction different from a joining direction with a screw member (3). The gasket (4) is integrally fitted onto the side peripheral surface (12a) of the base (1) (or the side peripheral surface (22a) of the cover (2)), and the seal surface (41a) of the gasket is closely fitted to the side peripheral surface (22a) of the cover (2) (or the side peripheral surface (12a) of the base (1)). Thus, the outer shell of a device formed of the base (1) and the cover (2) can be easily thinned and the cover (2) can be prevented from being nonuniformly deformed by the repulsion of the gasket (4).

  • Patent number: 7389992
Abstract: A gasket structured such that a packing is firmly fixed to one surface of a plate with a predetermined plane arrangement. The structure is made such that the packing is firmly fixed to one surface of the plate with a predetermined plane arrangement. The plate is screwed to an opposing assembly member at a screw fixing portion at a time of assembling. The packing is bent to one side in a width direction by being compressed at a lip portion by the opposing assembly member. A packing extension portion for partly enlarging an adhesive bonding area of the packing to the plate is provided in a position close to the screw fixing portion, an inflection portion or a position close thereto in a plane shape of the packing.

  • Publication number: 20060049585
Abstract: In a gasket (1) structured such that a packing (3) is firmly fixed to one surface of a plate (2) with a predetermined plane arrangement, since the packing (3) tends to be peeled off from the plate (2) to which the packing is firmly fixed, the following structure is employed. The structure is made such that the packing (3) is firmly fixed to one surface of the plate (2) with a predetermined plane arrangement, the plate (2) is screwed to an opposing assembly member (4) in a screw fixing portion (5) at a time of assembling, the packing (3) is bent to one side in a width direction by being compressed in a lip portion (7) by the opposing assembly member (4), and a packing extension portion (9) for partly enlarging an adhesive bonding area of the packing (3) to the plate (2) is provided in a position close to the screw fixing portion (5), an inflection portion (8, 10) or a position close thereto in a plane shape of the packing (3).
