Abstract: At the time of changing over an open/close body from a manual operation to an automatic operation, a reliable clutch connection is established in a power transmission system between a drive source and the open/close body thus enhancing the operability of the open/close body. An open/close body automatic drive equipment comprises a clutch mechanism which connects or interrupts a power transmission system between a motor for driving a slide door which constitutes the open/close body and the slide door, wherein a clutch of a clutch mechanism is interrupted in a manual manipulation, and in an automatic drive, a clutch is connected to operate the slide door.

Abstract: A device for preventing a pinched or sandwiched condition includes a first member having therein an opening area; a second member opening and closing the opening area of the first member; and an electronic control device detecting a sandwich condition between the first member and the second member which is in movement at a speed for closing the opening area of the first member when a deceleration side condition of the speed of the second member exceeds a threshold value which is obtained based on an acceleration side condition of the speed of the second member.

Abstract: An apparatus for perfectly closing a door of a vehicle basically comprising a latch, a pawl, a motor, an active lever, a latch lever, a pawl switch, and a latch switch. The door closing begins with the action of the latch moving from the door half-closed to the closed position an shown by the switching off of the pawl switch with the latch switch turning on. The electric motor activates upon detecting the door half-closed position and stops when the closed position is reached.
