Abstract: Disclosed herein is a television apparatus including: a thin display device; a mount section to be placed in a site; a support mechanism projecting upwardly from the mount section and supporting the display device in an upper portion spaced from the mount section in a manner to allow the display device to change an attitude thereof; a first speaker mounted on the display device; a second speaker mounted on the mount section; a signal supply section configured to supply a first audio signal to the first speaker and to supply a second audio signal to the second speaker; and a signal processor configured to adjust the time difference between the timing of the first audio signal output from the signal supply section and the timing of the second audio signal output from the signal supply section.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a television unit including a thin platelike display unit, a stand for rotatably supporting the display unit, and a speaker. The stand has a mounting portion adapted to be mounted at a suitable position and a swiveling portion rotatably connected to the mounting portion for supporting the display unit. The speaker is provided in the swiveling portion of the stand.

Abstract: An expanded board-like food product in the form of a thin wafer-like sheet having a plurality of elongated chambers rectangular in cross section and formed by passing a viscoelastic dough cake formed of edible vegetable material through a gap between a pair of opposingly rotating rollers and then a gap between a pair of scrapers. The product has many advantages to the conventional plastic porous board.

Abstract: An improved process for the production of rice-crackers using rice as the main raw material in which the waste wash water used to initially wash the rice is continuously recirculated for further use in washing fresh raw rice material until the recirculated wash water reaches a contaminate concentration in terms of chemical oxygen demand of up to about 40,000 ppm.
