  • Patent number: 9605634
Abstract: A needle has a large-diameter portion, an outer diameter of which is larger than that of a shaft portion of the needle. A needle-side tapered surface is formed at the large-diameter portion on a valve closing side thereof, wherein the needle-side tapered surface is inclined by a needle angle with respect to a center axis of the needle. A core-side tapered surface is formed at a movable core, wherein the core-side tapered surface is inclined by a core angle with respect to the center axis of the needle. The needle and the movable core are brought into contact with each other via the needle-side and the core-side tapered surfaces. The needle angle and the core angle are made to be equal to each other.

  • Patent number: 6682046
Abstract: A fuel injection valve includes, in part, a pipe, a fixed connector (fixed core), a movable core, a solenoid coil and a needle valve. In the fuel injection valve, a diameter of a fixed action surface of the fixed connector is made smaller than a movable action surface of the movable core. Therefore, magnetic flux around an outer circumferential portion is transmitted from the fixed action surface to the movable action surface substantially in a direction perpendicular to the movable action surface. Thus, an electromagnetic force acting therebetween is efficiently transformed to an attracting force for the movable core.

  • Patent number: 6488887
Abstract: A first compact (11) is molded by injection according to the MIM method in which a molding material composed of a mixture of metal powder and a binder is injected into a die for molding, after which a second compact (12) is molded by injection in close contact with the joining surface (110) of the first compact (11) thereby to fabricate a metal composite compact (1). The second compact (12) is molded by injection by making it flow and fill a die (8) in such a manner as to obtain a flow component (R) in the direction parallel to the joining surface (110) of the first compact (11) on the same joining surface (110). In a method according to another embodiment, cavity surfaces (60, 61) formed on a reference die (50) and a first replacement die (51), respectively, are placed in opposed relation to each other thereby to form a first cavity (71), in which the first compact (11) is molded by injection.

  • Patent number: 5621944
Abstract: Wiper device includes an arm system composed of an arm head, arm retainer and an arm piece that are connected together. The arm system has a movable portion which is capable of moving a wiping direction. A rubber vibration damper is disposed at the movable portion which is formed, for example, between the arm retainer and the arm piece of the arm system. When the wiper device is operating, an exciting force produced between the surface of a windshield and a wiper blade is transmitted to the arm piece and tends to oscillate the arm piece in the wiping direction about the movable portion. In this instance, the rubber vibration damper elastically deforms and dampens the vibrational force applied to the movable portion.
