  • Publication number: 20150297289
Abstract: A jaw of a grasping treatment device includes a non-contact portion having a space between it and a distal treatment section in a state where an abutment portion abuts on the distal treatment section, and the non-contact portion includes a wall surface portion inclined so that it is extended toward a distal treatment section side as it is extended away from the abutment portion. A movement regulating portion is provided in a region of the non contact portion located closer to the abutment portion than a continuous surface which forms an edge of the non-contact portion. The movement regulating portion located in the first wall surface portion regulates a movement of a grasp object along the jaw axis direction.

  • Patent number: 8025630
Abstract: A treating device according to the present invention comprises: a transmitting member for transmitting energy, for treating living body tissue, to the living body tissue; an outer sheath through which the transmitting member is passed; and a grasping section supported at the tip end portion of the outer sheath so as to be capable of turning with respect to the transmitting member, which allows the living body tissue to be grasped against the transmitting member. With such an arrangement, curved portions are formed on each of the transmitting member and the grasping section such that the transmitting member and the grasping section are in close contact. Furthermore, an edge portion is provided to a tip end portion of the transmitting member, at the side of the transmitting member in the direction toward which the grasping section heads, at the time of the grasping section turning on the turning axis toward the transmitting member so as to close.

  • Patent number: 7938779
Abstract: In a treating apparatus, a forceps body as a treating device is connected to a generator as a control device. The forceps body mainly includes a pair of handle portions, which are used for manipulation by being held by an operator, a pair of jaws provided between the handle portion and the pair of jaws, which are used to coagulate/resect by grasping living-body tissue to be treated and a pair of scissors component members. A heating member, which is a heat generating source as a heat generating portion for applying heat energy to living-body tissue, is embedded at least one of the jaws. A pair of electrode portions, which is a treating energy generator, is provided to the pair of jaws. By supplying bipolar electric surgical knife current between the pair of electrode portions, high frequency current as treating energy is applied to the grasped living-body tissue.

  • Patent number: 7815658
Abstract: An ultrasonic treatment apparatus includes a vibrator-assembly which generates ultrasonic vibration, a probe which is detachably mounted to the vibrator-assembly, and has a treatment-portion which performs treatment of a biological tissue in a distal end portion, and a main-body-unit-assembly to which the vibrator-assembly and the probe are detachably mounted, and in which the biological tissue is treated with the treatment-portion when an operator operates the main-body-unit-assembly while the probe is amounted. The main-body-unit-assembly includes a treatment-assembly which has an action-portion in a distal end portion facing the treatment-portion of the probe, and a handle-assembly which is detachably mounted to a proximal end portion of the treatment-assembly, and which brings the action-portion into contact with the treatment-portion of the probe or separates the action-portion from the treatment-portion while the handle-assembly is mounted to the proximal end portion of the treatment-assembly.

  • Patent number: 7749240
Abstract: An ultrasonic surgical system includes a handpiece including an ultrasonic transducer and a first storage unit; a probe connected to the ultrasonic transducer; a calculation unit; and a control unit. The first storage unit stores a first parameter relating to control of the ultrasonic transducer. The probe transmits ultrasonic vibrations output from the ultrasonic transducer to a treatment target, and includes a second storage unit storing a second parameter relating to control of the ultrasonic transducer. The calculation unit calculates a control parameter for controlling the ultrasonic transducer, based on both the first parameter and the second parameter. The control unit controls the ultrasonic transducer based on the control parameter.
