  • Patent number: 7235965
Abstract: Reinforcing rings are provided around the cylindrical outer surface of a stator can of a canned motor, near the front and rear ends of a stator of the canned motor respectively. An axial position detecting coil A is wound around the cylindrical outer surface of at least one of the reinforcing rings. The axial position of a rotor is detected by an inductance of the axial position detecting coil A. The axial position detecting coil A is installed by winding a coil around at least one of the reinforcing rings. The invention reduces the influence exerted by change in the radial position of the rotor on the output to the axial position detecting coil A to a negligible level and enables detection of the axial position of the rotor and axial zero adjustment without the necessity of considering change in the radial position of the rotor.

  • Patent number: 4523752
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for successive copying of documents stacked on an automatic feeder or individual documents fed through a discretionary feed. Insertion of a document into the discretionary feeder temporarily halts feeding from the stack by the automatic feeder.

  • Patent number: 4417148
Abstract: A photodetector device for photoelectrically detecting the presence of a moving body, comprising an operational amplifier receiving as a first input an electric signal which is in proportion to variations in the quantity of light, and a delay circuit for delaying the electric signal by a predetermined period of time and applying the electric signal to the operational amplifier as a reference input with respect to the first input. The information of the presence of a moving body is obtained as an output from the operational amplifier.
