    Abstract: Provided is a novel separating agent for optical isomers based on a helical polymer having optically active sites. The separating agent for optical isomers has a helical polymer having a structure represented by Formula (I), and a carrier that supports the helical polymer, wherein the helical polymer is supported by the carrier. (In Formula (I), X represents a divalent aromatic group, a single bond or a methylene group; R represents hydrogen or a C1-C5 alkoxy; and n represents an integer equal to or higher than 5.
