Abstract: A method for determining an aging state of at least one cell of a battery. The method includes the step receiving a large amount of operating data relating to the at least one cell of the battery via a memory unit, wherein the operating data can be assigned to a specific point in time. The received operating data is stored in the memory unit with a timestamp which corresponds to the respectively assigned point in time. An aging state of the at least one cell of the battery is calculated using a processor while interdependently taking into account multiple operating data having a common timestamp. The method makes it possible to estimate an aging state using a multidimensional database.
