  • Patent number: 10676216
Abstract: A station for compliance testing of unmanned vehicles comprises a dedicated area for acceptance of an unmanned vehicle. The dedicated area is configured for permitting the unmanned vehicle to be in a first inspection position. The station further comprises a transmitter. The transmitter is directed towards the dedicated area. The transmitter is configured to instruct the unmanned vehicle to perform a behavior. The station further comprises a sensor. The sensor is directed towards the dedicated area. The sensor is configured to detect a non-compliance of the unmanned vehicle. The detected non-compliance is in response to the instructed performed behavior of the unmanned vehicle.

  • Patent number: 9747814
Abstract: An approach to notifying a person who is hard of hearing of audible events based on a configurable device. The device has microphones and associated buttons mounted on its surface. The user programs the device by depressing a selected button longer than a preconfigured time to place the device in listen mode. The user generates the desired audible event and the device records the audible event. The selected button is depressed again to instruct the device to associate the audible event with a visual alarm indicator of colored/flashing lights and/or a text projection. The device listens for the audible event and activates the visual alarm indicator when the device detects the audible event.

  • Patent number: 9749468
Abstract: A method for screening an incoming call is provided. The method may include receiving a transmission of the incoming call in a user device. The method may include determining the incoming call originates from an area code of a telephone number associated with the user device. The method may include determining call information associated with a telephone number is stored within a database. The method may include determining at least one previous call from the telephone number has a call duration that does not satisfy a user preconfigured call duration threshold. The method may include determining the at least one determined previous call satisfies a maximum short call duration threshold. The method may also include determining a previous call frequency count satisfies a user preconfigured frequency threshold. The method may further include displaying the incoming call and an incorrectly dialed call notification on a display screen of the user device.
