  • Patent number: 10793511
Abstract: A process is provided for converting cyclic alkyleneureas into their corresponding alkyleneamines. The process includes reacting a feedstock comprising cyclic alkyleneureas in the liquid phase with water in an amount of from about 0.1 to about 20 mole water per mole urea moiety, at a temperature of at least 230° C., with removal of CO2. The process may allow the efficient conversion of alkyleneureas into the corresponding alkyleneamines. In certain embodiments, the process has a high yield and low side product production.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 7, 2018
Date of Patent: October 6, 2020
    Assignee: NOURYON CHEMICALS INTERNATIONAL B.V.

  • Patent number: 5931309
Abstract: A device for separating metallic and non-metallic materials via an inclined conveyor belt and vibrating plate feed. Feed material is dropped from the feed plate onto the inclined portion of the conveyor. Magnetic material adheres to the inclined belt by attraction to a magnetic plate spaced such that the belt interposes between the magnetic plate and the materials to be separated. Non-metallic materials fall down the incline into a collection area. The device further includes a second magnetic plate, after the first, oriented to diverge from the belt in the direction of conveyance to provide a uniform, attenuating magnetic flux.

  • Patent number: 4012275
Abstract: An apparatus for making thin protective gloves from a double thermoplastic film web comprises a belt conveyor intermittently moving the film web over a flat bed. Two tool assemblies, each having four identical cutting and welding tools on an intermittently rotatable vertical shaft, are disposed at opposite sides of the conveyor. Each tool has a heated die formed to the shape of the gloves and a suction plate disposed within the die. The tools of the tool assemblies are successively pressed against the web portion on the flat bed during the rest periods of the conveyor. The suction plates lift the gloves parted from the web and transfer them to a delivery station on rotation of the shafts.
