Abstract: A vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, which includes pivotal wing and engine assemblies on a fuselage with tail assemblies extending from each of the wing assemblies and the engines being operable in turbo prop or pure jet mode, wherein the aircraft is configured such that it can be landed or taken off vertically or in a horizontal mode along a runway.

Abstract: An attachment device for arranging a pair of supplementary lenses onto an eyeglass frame is disclosed. Such supplementary lenses, such as sunshades, are removably arranged onto tradition eyeglass frames. The supplementary lenses are arranged on the eyeglass frame in such a manner that none, or at least very limited amendments or adjustments are required with respect to the particular eyeglasses.

Abstract: A stud for a tire to improve traction on a roadway which includes a hardened steel pin mounted in a plastic body and extending therefrom to engage the roadway, wherein the stud is sized for insertion into openings in a tire tread. The plastic body includes a portion that is collapsible so that the stud can self-adjust its position relative to the tread surface as it wears, whereby the steel pin is maintained in close relation to the tread surface throughout the life of the tire to provide the maximum road-engaging condition.
