Abstract: System and method for automatically scheduling tasks for multi-stage projects. A task scheduling server communicates with a plurality of mobile devices operating user applications. Each mobile device has a user profile associated with a user type. The task scheduling server receives a project request including project criteria and generates a project workflow using the project criteria. The workflow includes various required work stages and associated work stage completion deadlines. The server associates user types with the tasks for each work stage, and assigns users to those tasks based on user profiles, project location and user location. Assigned users are notified through the user application, and the assigned user is provided with work stage data indicating the project location, the at least one task associated with that work stage and the stage completion deadline. Users can validate completion of the assigned tasks through the user application.
