Abstract: There is provided a multi-polar coaxial plug molded by the steps of forming a resin molding having a hole in the center to allow a center pin to pass, through holes around the center hole to allow connection terminal pieces to pass and a fit surface on the circumference to allow an outer sleeve to be fitted, and fitting the center pin, the connection terminal pieces and the outer sleeve or the like to the center hole, the through holes and the fit surface of the resin molding to assemble the above members into a unit in a temporarily fixed state, before setting the temporarily fixed members together with the resin molding in a mold for molding with a resin material.

Abstract: A support member to support elastic terminals is incorporated in a body so that the support member is made slidable in the longitudinal direction of the body. The support member has higher and lower base surfaces provided longitudinally in parallel to each other on the outer surface of the support member to support the elastic terminals. Also, the support member is biased by a spring so that the support member is pushed forward. An operating member integrated with or integrally connected with the support member so as to make a slide motion in the longitudinal direction is incorporated with the outer surface of the body such that the front end of the operating member is located ahead of terminal portions of the elastic terminals projected from the body, and the height of projected terminal portions of the elastic terminals is automatically switched over by the operation of inserting the car plug into a socket for a cigar lighter.

Abstract: A pole holding member made of synthetic resin comprises a cylindrical main body having a bottom and a core fitted into an inner space of the main body. A pole piece holding hole for holding a contact pin is formed in an outer periphery of the core, and is provided in the form of a fitting groove with a U-shaped section having a lateral cleavage portion opening on the side of the periphery of the core. A bottom wall portion of the main body is provided with the pole piece holding hole through which the contact pin passes. In the pole holding member, it is possible to facilitate an operation process for fitting the contact pin into the pole holding member to hold in a connector referred to as a so-called D-subconnector.
