  • Publication number: 20240103135
Abstract: A laser radar mounting structure is for mounting a laser radar to a vehicle. The laser radar has an irradiation unit configured to irradiate an electromagnetic wave for detecting an object around the vehicle. The laser radar mounting structure includes: an installation hole provided near a front pillar on a windshield of the vehicle, near a rear pillar on a rear glass of the vehicle, near the front pillar on a roof of the vehicle, or near the rear pillar on the roof of the vehicle; the laser radar provided in the installation hole; and a cover portion that covers the laser radar and transmits the electromagnetic wave. The laser radar is provided in the installation hole such that the irradiation unit faces the outside of the vehicle through the cover portion.

  • Patent number: 10556561
Abstract: A vehicle front portion structure includes a cover; an absorber provided rearward of the cover of a vehicle, the absorber being configured to absorb energy of a collision between the cover and a collision body while allowing the cover to move rearward; a front grill provided rearward of the cover and above the absorber, the front grill being configured to move rearward along with the cover during the collision between the cover and the collision body; a radar device attached to the front grill; and a deformation limiting member provided outside a radio wave irradiation range of the radar device and in a space between the radar device and the front grill or the cover, the deformation limiting member being configured to limit deformation of the front grill or the cover to the radar device side during the collision between the cover and the collision body.

  • Patent number: 9126636
Abstract: A tibia pad has: a right foot placement portion having a right side horizontal portion formed horizontally and on which a passenger's right heel is placed, and a right side inclined portion formed at a vehicle front side of this right side horizontal portion and inclined with respect to a vehicle longitudinal direction to head toward a vehicle upper side while heading toward a vehicle front side; a pair of groove portions formed, at least in a bottom surface of the right side horizontal portion at the right foot placement portion, to extend along the vehicle longitudinal direction and to lined-up in a vehicle transverse direction; and a step portion formed at a transition portion between the right side horizontal and the right side inclined portions, and positioned between a rear and a front side ribs are formed at the right side horizontal and the right side inclined portions, respectively.
