  • Publication number: 20090295566
Abstract: An apparatus and method for the early detection of a subject in a drowning or in a near-drowning situation in a body of water, such as a swimming pool, are disclosed. When the drowning or near-drowning situation is identified the apparatus issues an alarm signal that, in order to promote early rescue, attracts the relative, guest, friend or any other person.
