  • Patent number: 8555508
Abstract: A method for producing an internal or external part of a torque-transmitting opposed track joint, such as a fixed constant velocity ball joint, in which approximately axially parallel extending track bases of the joint tracks have curvatures which deviate in their axial course from the curvatures of the ball contact lines. The method is characterized in that in a first step a perform with approximately axially parallel extending grooves having lateral flanks is produced, and in a second step the perform is formed into a final joint part whereby the lateral flanks of the grooves are just partially formed to achieve the ball contact lines.

  • Patent number: 8313587
Abstract: A method for producing a torque transmission device such as a fixed constant velocity ball joint constructed as an opposed track joint in which the curvatures bases of the tracks of the joint deviate in their axial course from the curvatures of the ball contact lines. The method is characterized in that prior to the formation of a longitudinal profile of a joint component, the component is brought to an increased hardness by a hardening process and a diffusion layer is partially or completely removed in the region of the longitudinal profile.

  • Publication number: 20090176586
Abstract: A torque transmitting device, such as a fixed constant velocity ball joint as a counter track joint and a method for producing such a joint, in which the curvatures of the bases of the joint tracks deviate in their axial course from the curvatures of the ball contact lines. The method is characterized in that the joint component is brought to an increased hardness by a hardening process prior to the formation of the longitudinal profile of the component, and a diffusion layer is partially or completely removed in the region of the longitudinally profiled structure.

  • Patent number: 7168281
Abstract: A method for producing an annular element having an inner toothing, especially a sliding sleeve. An outlet ring element can be arranged in an extrusion device which includes an annular matrix element with an inner bore hole, a sleeve stamping device which is arranged therein and has first and second annular sleeve stamping elements which can be moved in relation to each other in the inner bore hole, and an inner stamping device having first and second inner stamping elements and first and second partial regions which are interspaced in the circumferential direction. When the inner stamping device is closed, the partial regions form cavities for producing the inner toothing. The outlet ring element is arranged between the first and second inner stamping elements and is measured in such a way that when closing the sleeve stamping device, material from the outlet ring element flows into the cavities for the formation of the inner toothing.

  • Patent number: 6805045
Abstract: In a press production series for massive forming with a toggle drive for driving a ram, varying stroke speeds of the ram motion are attached by adjustment of cogwheels of an planetary gear system having fixed connecting dimensions. Uniform machine frames can thus be used.

  • Patent number: 6708609
Abstract: A press product line of presses for massive forming has toggle lever transmissions for driving a slide. Different slide strokes and path-time characteristic curves of the slide movement are achieved starting with uniform blank components. The critical dimensions, i.e., the bearing locations of the toggle lever transmission on the machine frame, are constant within the entire press product line, so that at least to that extent, uniform machine frames can be used. Specially desired path-time progressions are achieved through appropriate fine machining of the blank components (eccentric, connecting rod and link bars).

  • Patent number: 6408673
Abstract: An adjusting plate (20) for a transfer press (1) has several individually adjustable tool mounting sites (bearing devices). An individually adjustable adjusting device (25) is assigned to each mounting site (15a, 16a, 17a, 18a). Sensor devices (36) provide an acknowledgment concerning the set adjusting position. The adjusting devices (25) are also connected with individual blocking devices (51). The adjustment and blocking take place by way of corresponding hydraulic drives (35, 52) or can take place manually.
